WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE BASIC BOOKKEEPING PACKAGE?

Every month we will categorize all business related income and expense transactions and issue you a monthly financial statement consisting of a Balance Sheet and a Profit and Loss. These reports will help you understand your business past to make decisions on your business future. They are required in order to do any tax planning or to fund your business with mid-year loans. Unlimited email and text support is also included.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED IN THE BASIC BOOKKEEPING PACKAGE?

Anything above and beyond basic tracking of income and expense items for the month is not included in the monthly price above. However, additional services are available. Some additional services include: payroll, invoicing, bill payment, sales tax filing, detailed financials showing class tracking or job profitability, business formation and corporate compliance services. We can always tailor a package to meet the unique needs of  your business.

WHAT INFORMATION DO I NEED TO SHARE?

We can most efficiently complete your monthly financials with online access to your business checking & credit card accounts. Many banks allow for accountant (read-only) access to bank accounts. In lieu of direct access to your accounts, you can provide your statements each month. Direct access is preferred because it helps keep our efficiency high and our fees affordable.

IF I HAVE A QUESTION, HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET AN EMAIL RESPONSE?

We pride ourselves in being very responsive to our clients and their important inquiries. We strive to respond within 1 business day. During extraordinarily busy times, we will let you know we've received your message, along with an estimate of how long it will take us to reply in full.

WHAT HOURS DO YOU WORK?

Due to the flexible nature of bookkeeping work, we sometimes work odd hours. However, we use standard Monday-Friday 9am-5pm hours to address emails, texts and phone calls.

IS QUICKBOOKS ONLINE REQUIRED FOR THE BASIC BOOKKEEPING PACKAGE?

Yes. To handle your bookkeeping and maintain affordable pricing, we require our clients to subscribe to QuickBooks Online, typically in versions Essentials or Plus.  If you have a current subscription, you are ahead of the game and won’t need to get another subscription. If you do not have a subscription, we can determine the best QBO plan for your business - and we can set it up for you . We are able to offer 50% off QBO to our new clients for 12 months, which is the best discount available for QBO.

DO YOU REQUIRE A CONTRACT?

Nope! No contract is required. However, there are no partial month refunds.

IS AN ENGAGEMENT LETTER REQUIRED?

Yes, an engagement letter is required. This terms and conditions documents will act as our official engagement letter. You may be asked to sign future engagement letters via electronic signature for any additional services as well.

WHAT IS REQUIRED OF ME?

We strive to provide you with world class service, but we can only do so with proper documents and items requested during onboarding and in the future. To ensure we are categorizing financials appropriately, we will have various questions for you throughout the month. Timely responses are appreciated.
